The melting point of aluminum is 1220 °F (660.32 °C) and the boiling point — the point where aluminum becomes a vapor — is 4566 °F (2519 °C). Because of these things, no regular lighter will melt aluminum and aluminum shavings in your herb will never be inhaled.
In addition to that, it is very rare for an aluminum grinder to leave metal shavings. You might find some metal shavings in your aluminum grinder once you first receive your grinder but a quick wash will remove the shavings.
